In my six-year coaching experience, I realize that most of my clients get stuck because they think they are not good enough. Chances are you do, too. I am leaving my usual inspirational tone to be more direct here. Whether you think you are excellent, mediocre, or inadequate, your job isn’t to make assumptions but to never stop trying. Never. After all, believing you’re not good enough and acting accordingly signals a great deal of self-confidence. If you are physically healthy, and don’t suffer from any cognitive impairment, according to scientists, through neuroplasticity, you can use your brain to learn whatever you choose given you will spend the time, energy, and effort it requires. If you remember one thing from this article, let it be Michael Jordan’s famous quote: “I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.”
