It’s daunting to believe you can achieve your goal when you’ve failed constantly in the past. But that’s not a reason to make excuses for not taking action towards your goals. Starting sentences with “I know I should, but…,” is a sign that you are justifying your inaction. It signals laziness, self-denial, conformity, among others. It’s acknowledging the challenges you face are bigger than you and you won’t even try, despite knowing you should. Now, it’s time to start working towards your goals and stop making excuses for your inaction.
